Frankly there is not a lot of appeal at all. My daughter was very unimpressed with it when I showed her the toy. The sounds that the staff makes are really creative though, especially the sheep sounds. It is too long, and I really feel like she could injure herself or break something playing with the toy the way it was recommended. However, I felt uncomfortable letting her play with the toy, as it is a long staff that one is supposed to swing overhead or move sideways to generate certain sounds. She was excited to get a Toy Story toy, as she loves the movies and their characters. My 6 & 1/2-year-old daughter received the Disney Pixar Toy Story Bo Peep Action Staff as part of a promotional campaign to review for no charge. I couldn’t be more happy with this product. Now, all her cousins and daycare friends have one. But after watching Toy Story 4 in theaters she would take her toy everywhere. My daughter was amazed with this toy when I initially gave it to her. (5 cm) deep.My 6 year old daughter has not stopped playing with this toy since we got it about 2 month ago.
